Nine years, three full-length albums, and several trends have past since dope's debut CD hit the streets back in 1999. Since then, Dope has toured virtually non-stop, increasing their fan base and Soundscanning over a half-million records in the US alone. AMERICAN APATHY RELOADED contains 9 remixed tracks from Dope's 2005 AMERICAN APATHY album along with a DVD featuring 9 incredible live performances. Once again We were hired by F3 Studios to work as their studio assistant, prop handler, wrangler and design assistant on this amazing photo shoot.

SOIL TRUE SELF

Soil's third full-length album finds the Chicago-based heavies with a new lead singer. Newcomer A.J. Cavalier (longtime vocalist Ryan McCombs joined Drowning Pool in 2004). It only takes a few seconds into lead off track "Fight for Life" to get that True Self is a rock heading toward an awfully big glass window. We were hired by F3 Studios to be utilized in the concept design of the album art an to be the studio assistant for this shoot.

SLITHERYN SNAKE JAPAN

Corey Taylor is best known as the singer of Slipknot and Stone Sour, but did you know that he's also performed with (and produced) a kids' metal band? The vocalist came across a cover of Slipknot's "Eyeless" on the Internet; it came by a Chicago nu-metal group comprising five rockers between the ages of 11 and 14. Intrigued, Taylor reached out to them, and wound up producing the quintet's debut EP, Snake. We were hired by to provide props, including BELT the snake and assist on the photo shoot, which provided the artwork for this album.

FASHION BOMB DEVILS TO SOME ANGELS TO OTHERS

We were hired as the studio assistant, prop handler, wrangler and design assistant. A fun shoot where we had to fill a huge table with prop bones and skulls. Interesting fact: I utilized a skull originally created for the film THE CAVE. Look for it in the center of the band photo.

Chicago metal band Vis@40 Cruelty 2 Humans was released by the group under in its earlier identity, and despite trappings of an all-out metal assault, and song titles such as "Squirm," the band actually promoted the effort as kind of melodic form of the genre, even promising "hooks" of the sort disc jockeys like, and not the kind used in torture dungeons. We were hired by F3 Studios to design the metal props and torture devices utilized in the concept design of the album art an be the studio assitant for this shoot.

The butterfly turned out to be a moth indigenous to Peru. Interesting fact: my son NIKKI LEE NOWOTNIK was also the model for the shoot.

When Cindy approached us to handle her branding and Comic-Con convention, we were a little surprised. As her entertainment fan base continues to grow and opportunities to become a spokes model are offered, her branding needed to reflect not only her career, but her health and beauty aspects of her life. We took on the challenge head on and are delighted with the results!

Working with American Multi Cinema and now with their new owners Dalian Wanda Group along with major movie studios such as Universal Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, Sony/Columbia Pictures, Walt Disney Pictures and more, continued creating dozens of unique eye-catching wall displays in theaters all over the Chicago area. Our marketing has resulted in thousands upon thousands of media impressions. Campaigns include, STAR WARS, AVENGERS, FAST and THE FURIOUS, TED, and more. The end results of our combined marketing efforts are reason for celebration as these movies have been the primary force in stronger consumer spending at the box office year after year.

A not so regular story about a regular guy who has cut the locks of Hollywood’s legendary stars like Jane Russell, Tippi Hedren and Mickey Rooney among others. Oddly, the author doesn't have a fancy salon in a trendy location and he also lacks other commonalities shared by people whom cut celebrities hair: formal training and a license. And that's just the beginning.
